January columns

Here are the few other holiday columns I've written. Enjoy!

A new lease on tradition
I never claimed to be a good housekeeper
Death by holiday catalog

I have been remiss at posting my newest columns. Mostly because I've been trying to decide if it's a good business decision as I'm attempting to launch my column into the wide open world. I've decided since I write one every week, they should be posted for prospective buyers to see.

If you keep up with the Covington Reporter online, you'll see repeats. I have noticed about every other or every third one does not get posted, so you may see something new. Enjoy!

Newest columns

06/17/2011

Here are my latest columns. They are either printed in the Covington Reporter or online at covingtonreporter.com. They usually have different titles than I give them.

For those of you who follow my blog, you'll probably recognize excerpts from my blog. Often my blog is inspiration for a column. Sometimes, like in Lawn Mower 101, it was my blog that day.

Enjoy!

Laundry Day Makes my Week
Write it on the list
Lawn mower 101
Lost and Found
Making summer productive for teens

The editor of the Covington/Maple Valley Reporter is now also the editor of the Kent Reporter and the Tukwila Reporter.  So you may see me printed in more places, but I will at least be online every week starting next week (I hope).

Right now he is behind on posting, but hopefully by next week he will be caught up and you can count on a weekly column.  I committed to writing a column a week, whether it was printed or not, so you can always catch new columns online at covingtonreporter.com.

Here are my latest columns:

Redefining Fun
Where everyone knows my name
Seeing the trees through the forest
To Freeze or not to Freeze

I have arrived!

03/05/2011

You can now search for me on BING.  I apparently have arrived.

Here's my latest column in the Covington Reporter.  I also wrote a article about my daughter's high school which I've also included.  The Covington Reporter has agreed to run the article about the high school, I'm not sure when.  I've also contacted the Kent Reporter and am waiting for a reply.

It's not empty until I say it's empty

A New Look at an Old School -Kent-Meridian High School

I am back in the Covington Reporter every week again.  You can read the Reporter by going to covingtonreporter.com.
Here are this year's columns:

A Day in the Life of a Mom

They are my Ducks
Still Married after all these Remodels
It's a Family Affair
