I even have a lot of body in my hair so it's fairly cooperative when cut correctly, but I just haven't had a really good haircut in awhile. They haven't been bad haircuts, just not long lasting haircuts.
So yesterday I went in and had time to look in a book. I showed the hair dresser how short I wanted it. She was pretty surprised and got to work. There is a bit of a language barrier as she's Vietnamese and I can't always understand her. I just kept saying yes to all her questions.
I think my hair is about 1/2 long now. It's fine, in two weeks it'll be an inch long. But I did think considering the picture I showed her it would have a bit more style; a wispy here and there perhaps. But she did what I wanted. Maybe in the future she'll know I mean business when I tell her I want it SHORT.
I figure I won't need a haircut until next year. Besides, like my Dad always said, "The difference between a good haircut and a bad haircut is two weeks."
