Then I started thinking about what I needed to put a belated Thanksgiving dinner on the table on Friday. Last night after hanging and building more items in the new room, my husband and I returned a box of flooring we didn't use and a mat we changed our minds on. So while we were at the store, I got the ingredients to make the yam dish; I usually make it early, because it's time consuming. So today I realized I really only need stuffing; I use Pepperidge farm stuffing, so that's a no brainer. My mother-in-law is bringing cranberries and rolls and I already have potatoes, bean and pies.
Then I realized when I go to writers' group today, I can pick up my smoked turkey, saving me a trip tomorrow. Then I decided I don't need to do any big shopping right now. We have milk and cereal, that's all my family really cares about anyway and then we'll have leftovers for a couple days.
Suddenly, I have hours and hours of time to finish cleaning and writing. There is nothing like streamlining the process!
