I get pretty psyched when there's a huge spike, like on January 3rd. There were 110 page views. So then I just have to log into my google account and see how many actual visitors there were. Nothing like google to take down an ego, there were 8 actual visitors. So those eight visitors were very busy looking at a lot of pages.
The other day there were 40 page views, which the past few weeks is just slightly above average. I went over to google with not too many expectations and there were actually 22 visits. So 22 people just looked at a couple pages. I was pretty puffed up over that it was the most people in a day to date.
Yesterday there was another spike of just over 102. I rushed over to google trying not to get too excited. But who am I kidding, my ego was riding along. Fifteen people viewed yesterday.
Some days I choose not to believe google stats because I can also get stats on how many brand new visitors (unique) there were. It's pretty certain I'll have 2-4 repeat visitors (thanks sis, mom, daughter and husband) in a day, but google will tell me out of 6 visitors, I had 6 unique visitors. So some days, I cling to the number of 110 in weebly and stick to it. Maybe I just need an extra ego boost those days.
Need I say I'm a bit obsessed with the stats? But not to worry people, I can't actually see who visits, just that someone out there in virtual land tried out my website and maybe even liked it.
Now I'm going to stop writing this and see how many page views there were since I've been writing this.
