I got a message on my answering machine from my neighbor telling me my tire looked really low. My husband was working overtime, so I went out to check it. Then I did what every normal American would do when their tire is low for no reason, I went to Les Schwab.
It took a couple hours, but I have to say I was okay with that since I walked in and I'm sure I was behind people with appointments. It beat the alternative which was to go out into the cold this morning to take my daughters to the bus and find it totally flat.
The good people at Les Schwab told me it had a crack in the liner. When I told them they were only about a year old, they suggested I see if there is a warranty on it. Then they put the spare on and sent me on my way.
I called this morning and the good people at Gamblin Motors in Enumclaw said there is indeed a warranty on it and to bring it by.
So I guess I get a new tire, gratis, for Christmas this year. And I just happen to be going to Enumclaw this morning for my writers group. So it really is Christmas cheer all around.
