Then I want to be hard-nosed and snobby and not take the requested articles because they didn't come "on time." But I always break down and take "late work." Often gratefully, as was yesterday because I needed a particular article to fill enough pages. I had to add two pages to fit in the calendar.of events. Two pages is the minimum you can add in the Publisher program or the front/back doesn't come out right. It would have been a lot of white space with the just the calendar on two pages. So I was grateful I got the last minute article.
God is always working on my patience and showing me that everything comes out right in the end. So after I had a big hissy fit yesterday, which my children were unfortunate enough to have witnessed, I pulled myself together enough to receive the gift of late work and a lesson in patience. Late is relative as is everything that doesn't fit into our plan.
So the bins and drawer didn't get done yesterday. So what, I have today.
If you want to make God laugh, make plans.
