I have no problem hanging the laundry out and leaving it for a couple days, but a week is probably pushing the boundaries. We don't have that many clothes any way. So I'm in laundry mourning until next spring.
I hung my laundry out last week and it rained off and on for three days. It dried most of the way and I had to bring it all in and throw it in the dryer for the last of the dampness to dry up.
It's supposed to be quite warm today, so the laundry will be all in the timing. This morning is rather cool, although sunny. So I have to wash the jeans first and get them out on the line so when the sun starts moving around to the back patio they get all the heat of the day.
Then I can wash the other clothes. Although I am to the point in the season where I'm only hanging the things I normally would hang during the fall and winter. During the heat of the summer, I hang up everything except socks and underwear (they get kind of crunchy when hung out to dry).
There should be an ode to summer laundry days. I'll work on that.
