Then we went to Baker Street Bookstore and worked on the puzzle the owner always has going. We finished it and had the honor of picking a new one and destroying the old one. I have to admit it was kind of fun.
When the kids got home from school my hubby and I went to 2seven2 in Covington. Never been there, but had heard it was good. The reports were correct! I had crab and brie stuffed salmon (oh my God!) and my hubby had seafood fettuccine. They were both so good we wanted to pick up our plates and lick them when the food was gone.
Saw "Bridesmaids" at the theater, it was really funny. Great birthday movie, but definitely not a movie I'd take my teen girls to. I said to them I wouldn't take them because I wouldn't want to have to explain things they don't need to know right now. They told me that maybe I really didn't want them to tell me they already knew about that stuff.
Public schools... they'll get an education one way or the other.
