Instead I've decided the woman who voluntarily enter into polygamist relationships really have the right idea. Except I would interview each candidate and tap into different strengths. I would have a wife who was a whiz at finances to straighten up the check book, pay the bills, and get us out of debt. Then I would have a wife who enjoyed tidying up the house, vacuuming and dusting. Maybe that wife would need a wife to do just bathrooms (I hate bathrooms too). I'd have another wife to keep all the paperwork signed, filed and organized and a wife to schedule and keep track of events. I'd also have a wife to help me cook, because I enjoy cooking, but maybe she could plan meals and be my sou chef. I also like doing laundry, but I'd have someone help fold.
All these women don't have to marry my husband. I really need these wives for myself. I think women should be able to marry a man then marry as many wives as she needs. I'd even share my kids with them.
But my house is small and we'd be crowded. They'd all have opinions and judgments of their own, and there would be conflict. I'd have more people asking me questions, more people needing my attention. Maybe I'm not up to having wives of my own. Besides, I have teenagers to do the chores I hate.
