I'm not ashamed to say that I have great hair. It has natural body in it and pretty much stays where I want it to go when it's short enough. I just wash it, put gel in it and go. Very no-fuss. I keep it short because when I've had it longer it makes me look frumpy and because I don't want to have to blow-dry it.
So when I deem it's time for a haircut, that's when I want a haircut. I don't want to make an appointment for sometime in the future because I don't know how I'm going to feel about getting my hair cut sometime in the future.
The last time I got my hair cut was the end of summer. I was tired of the stylists not understanding I wanted it SHORT, so I had her cut it about 1 inch long. Then she understood short. I think that was in August and I've been riding that wave ever since.
I have changed my style somewhat, but what usually happens is as it grows out a bit, it ends up the same.
I have a salon I go to that I just love. It's "Logic Hair Salon" in Covington. And I just walk in and take who ever they have available. I've pretty much always gotten a cut I like every time. This time was no different.
I got it short again, a couple inches long and added a little wisp side burns and the back. Different stylist this time. She listened to me (maybe she was forewarned).
I'm good to go now for a couple months until I wake up looking like Bozo the Clown again. I wish other things in my life would alert me when they need attention like my hair does.
