Ah, Children.  There are many moments in their lives when we wonder, "What were we thinking?"  We have created life and brought it forth only to have it reflect all the things we dislike about ourselves.

I think my life was boring before I had children, probably less complicated; I can't really remember.  The kids have brought a blessed chaos into my life which I had only previously experienced on sitcoms.  My husband and I laughed at those sitcoms, never dreaming they were more true to life than we believed.  We talked about how children wouldn't change our lives or our relationship.  Of course, we were wrong; children changed everything.

So amidst the chaos, I have discovered the glee!  The children have complicated our lives, but have also brought some of the best memories we'll ever have.  From their babyhood to their teenage years, we have watched them change and change us.  I laugh at what I thought was difficult when they were little, compared to what is difficult with them now. 

My children still make me laugh even though they are in their teens.  I hope you enjoy these stories about my children.  Remember, you are not alone; figuratively and literally, you have children!
